- First, we determine your objectives
Do you want a simple presence on the Internet? What sort of information do you want to display? Do you want to sell products? Are you wanting to attract new members? Once we have these basic questions answered, we can move forward.
- Next, we create a basic concept
We will develop a number of "proofs" for your website. Basically these are JPG images showing what your site will look like. Remember that this part of the consultation is absolutely FREE. If you can provide us with any brochures, photographs or even business cards, we can use them to come up with a basic look for your website. Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be in touch with you from time-to-time, showing you the updated proofs. Everytime we meet, you'll be able to specify how you want things changed until you're completely satisfied. Once we agree on a final design, we will quote you a price for the entire job. If you agree to the price, we ask for one-half down, and the other one-half is due on delivery.
- Site creation begins
We will begin creating graphics and incorporating text and images in the creation of your website. We will register one (1) domain name of your choice for free. Additional names can be registered for just $10 annual fee. Your domain name will become active about 24 hours after we register the name. At this point, the work begins and you can visit your domain name anytime and watch your website being built. This way, you are able to stay involved with the work process to be assured you're getting exactly what you want. Delivery time is normally 45 days after we agree on everything and get all the materials needed to complete the project.
- The site's finished.... now what?
Once your site is up and running, we provide two (2) full months of support, which includes any updates you might need. So, if you need to update photos on your site (for example) we'll do that anytime you need for a period of two months. This ensures you're able to work out all the final bugs and get full satisfaction out of the site you've purchased.
Also included with your website plan, you get one year of FREE web hosting for your site (a $100 value) which gives you all of the following features...
- Unlimited email accounts for you and your staff
- "Webmail" so you can check your mail using only a browser
- Spam and virus protection for your email messages
- FTP access so you can modify pages yourself anytime you like
- Web stats so you can see what pages your visitors are viewing and how often
After the first year, there is an annual web hosting fee of $100 which helps to pay the upkeep on the server where your website lives. There is also a $10 annual fee for the domain name to be continually registered to you.
After you've had your site for a while, you may decide some changes need to be made. We have service plans available that range anywhere from $20 to $50 per month depending on how many hours per month you expect to use. The exact cost of a service plan will be provided in your final quote.
Prices:
Our prices are based on the number of man-hours we estimate it will take to complete the project. After we get an idea of your objectives and create the proofs of your site, we will quote you a price for the entire job. Our prices range anywhere from $500 to $5,000 dollars, depending on the features you want.
If you just want a few simple pages on the internet to display basic information about your business, this could be anywhere between $500 and $1,000 dollars. For a more advanced site that has numerous pages or complex features, this could be anywhere from $1000 and $3000. |
