SpamAssassin

Spam Assassin is used to identify and remove spam. When a message comes into our servers, it is scanned against a database of characteristics. Words in the message such as "Viagra" or "Mortgage" and many variations thereof will cause the message to score points against its credibility. If a message scores enough points, the subject line is modified to include the word "SPAM" so you can easily filter junk mail. If the message scores a high number of points, it is automatically deleted so you never have to see the ugliest spam.
